Information Collected by Third Parties

The control is yours

Hibe provides you with the ability to control how you share your information. We advise that you undertake the necessary precautions when you provide online information to other users.

On Hibe, you connect and share with others based on Hibe’s Contextual Privacy approach. In this approach, you create a Social Context (a.k.a Facet) representing the boundary of your interactions with others, you select content to be shared within this Social Context, and you select people that will be allowed to access, contribute and interact with the shared content within such an environment.

All content you share on Hibe is aggregated and managed through topic-based containers known as booklets. A booklet contains all your posts, the media and the documents you share in it, making the booklet the basic content type on Hibe and the stream in which your conversation with others about a specific topic takes place.

Content you contribute within a public context is referred to as your Public Content. Content you contribute within a private context is referred to as your Private Content.

We cannot control how others may share the information you disclose or share, and we assume no responsibility in that regard. You are solely responsible for any abusive, undesired or illegal use that might occur with respect to the disclosed or shared information.

We integrate video features that connect to YouTube, LLC. sites. When using such features, some limited and required Collected Information may be transmitted. Please note that transmitted information becomes subject to the YouTube agreement and privacy policy.

We recommend that you learn how to use Hibe to gain a greater understanding of how you share and control your information.

Deletion

Deleted information is removed completely from the platform unless we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activities or fraud, situations involving the physical safety of any person, violations of the Terms, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

At any time, you can close your account. By doing so, we will delete all of the information that you provided during the course of your registration with Hibe.
